I've driven this trip more times than I can count and over a span of 43 years. So about a year ago I started taking notes, gathering ideas and putting together a collection that came to be this book.  It's a guide for the drivers, it's entertainment for the family and hopefully enjoyable for all.  It provides insight that comes from doing something over and over until  you notice things on the 49th trip that you never saw before.  There's some history along the way as well.  I'm still gathering information and will post an excerpt on this site before too long.  Stay tuned and if you have any unique tips or insight into this trip be sure and send them my way.  They just might make it to publication.
